Talalay Latex vs. Omalon

A lot of consumers wonder why pay the difference for a latex and foam mattress and the difference between latex and omalon foam. The truth is that the biggest difference that you will find is the feel. People mostly buy mattresses based on how the mattress feels. So the question really is what mattress will keep feeling great (or the same way it felt on the day you bought it). And the easy answer is: Latex. Omalon foam holds its form long but not as long as latex mattresses and you will notice the difference in warranty between a Omalon and a latex mattress. Mattresses that are mostly latex have a higher warranty than Omalon mattress but you will pay a higher price for an all latex mattress.

The Comfort Choice from Jamison is an example of all latex mattress. The comfort choice also has two sides to it, a firm and a plush side. Jamison is able to this because Talalay Latex gives a wider firmness range than the normal Omalon (or Dunlop Latex).

If you want the comfort of the Talalay Latex but you don't want to pay the price, you could get the Jamison Sea Pines. Which has Talalay Latex on top and memory foam and Omalon foam at the bottom. The Talalay will help the mattress keep its form on top to give the same great feel for a long time.
